Member Training Courses
 First Aid course dates for 2006-07 are available for surf club members. All First Aid courses are run by St Johns and carry full NZQA credits. 
   
If it is over 2 years since you've done a First Aid course you will need a one day refresher.  To see what courses we have you listed as having completed check the Patrol Roster.

Please note that you may be required to pay for a small part of course costs and if you fail to turn up to the course without notifying the club two weeks in advance, you will be billed for the full amount. The First Aid courses available include:

- First Aid Level One (2 days)
- First Aid Level Two (1 day)
- First Aid Level Three - PHEC (3 days)
- Refresher Level 1 & 2 (1 day)
- Refresher Level 3 PHEC (2 days)

Other surf courses as listed below are also available.

- IRB Crewman and Operators
- Senior Lifeguard School
- Surf Official and Surf Coach.

Swim Training
Pool time is available for club members at West Wave Monday evening between 7 and 8pm as well as Wednesday at Massey High School.

Note: No swimming Christmas or New Years Eve as West Wave closes at 6pm those days.
