New members for both Junior and Senior surf are always welcome. You don't have to qualify as a Life Guard or be a good swimmer to be of value to the club. We have many roles where people can join in and help the overall result.Phone Dave Comp on (09) 832 4672 or 0276 645044.
Club Hire
The club is available for hire to local community groups, schools, sports clubs and individuals, as well as commercial use subject to committee approval and outside of normal Surf Life Saving hours.Please note that during the summer period Volunteer (weekend) and Regional(weekday) Lifeguards need the use of the club so hiring times are more limited.
Trained life guards can also be available to provide medical and safety support to events depending on availability.
Facilities include 2 bunk rooms capable of sleeping 10 each, kitchen with 2 large fan ovens with electric cooktops, large refrigerator, separate male/female showers and toilets.
